POSITION TITLE: Host/Hostess
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager,Director of Food & Beverage
POSITION PURPOSE:
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Acknowledge guests promptly and ascertain their dining needs
- Seats guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assists servers and bussers with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking silverware, flatware and folding napkins
- Helps team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Answer phone calls as per established guidelines
- Make/update reservations based on company policy
- Maintain confidentiality of guest’s information at all times, including during making reservation, seating walk ins and/or noting credit card details for group booking
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Hostess Qualifications / Skills:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.50-$21.33 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Caledon Village, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
