Job Brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working High-Rise Assistant Supervisor for a position at our Toronto site. You will be part of the High-Rise Construction team and you will be responsible for supporting in setting goals for the project, ensuring that project is completed on time, monitoring the project from concept to completion and providing safety and security to workers on the job site.

Position Responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following including other tasks that your Supervisor sees fit:

• Concrete ordering and delivery monitoring
• Dispatching concrete cylinder tests
• Ordering and monitoring rebar deliveries and accessories
• Coordinate delivery and installation of miscellaneous metals, hollow metal doors and frames, and hardware
• Execute 3rd party reviews with regards to Bulletin 19 requirements
• Assist in reviews as required by Building Inspector
• Coordinate daily operations of formwork
• Coordination of finishing trades with respect to sequencing and scheduling of suite finishes as required for IPDI and PDI processes
• Ensure workers safety by monitoring site activities
• Assist in the preparation of “as-built” drawings
• Provide assistance with regards to Building Occupancy requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• Have at least 3-5 years of Assistant Super experience
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Superior time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under strict deadlines
• Positive attitude, team player and professional demeanor
