Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) Job at Offbeat Homes Inc.
Major Work Area: - Residential - Fredericton, NB area
We are looking for an experienced excavator operator to join our team
Excavator operators are responsible for some of the following
· Grub and Clear, excavate sites to get ready for foundations and services and general civil construction work.
· Follow safety regulations.
· Keep their machine and equipment clean and in good working order.
· Maintain knowledge of safe construction work practices and procedures.
· Reference stakes and guidelines or ground or position equipment, following hand signals of other workers.
· Load and move dirt, rocks, or other materials, using trucks, crawler tractors.
Requirements:
· 2 Year’s experience Minimum
· Residential Excavation experience a plus
· Understanding of GPS/machine controls (an asset)
· Typical machinery includes but is not limited to the following: Excavators (3 to 35 tonne), Dozers, Loaders, Backhoes
Monday – Friday and some scheduled weekends
Morning Shift
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour - Depending on experience and quality of work
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
