Duncan pharmacy is seeking a Health care aid to be part of our committed, energetic and knowledgeable team. We are dedicated to providing the utmost in patient care.
Position Summary :
Mobile health care aid practice providing in home support to patients with opiod Agonist treatment such as Methadose, kadian & suboxone.
Work in collaboration with Vancouver Island Health Authority, community pharmacists and physicians
Provide direct care to patients in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, and programs, as wStandards for Practice
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited health care aid program in BC
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent written and oral communication
Knowledge and background in OAT is a must
Requirements :
Valid BC Driver’s License, company vehicle provided
Clear Police Criminal Record Check and Solicitor General’s Criminal Record Check
Able to effectively use a computer and electronic devices
Must be available to work weekends
