Head Lifeguard – Wainwright Communiplex Job at Town of Wainwright
The Wainwright Communiplex is accepting applications for the position of:
PERMANENT FULL TIME LEVEL 7 HEAD LIFEGUARD
Seeking a self-motivated individual who has strong leadership and team building skills as well as
being knowledgeable in general pool operations. Hours of work will be 40 hours per week and
will include evenings and weekends.
The primary purpose of this position is lifeguarding, instructing of all levels, maintenance,
supervising and training staff, and a general knowledge of the filtration and chlorine systems.
Qualifications:
- must have completed Grade 12 and minimum 18 years old
- NLS, Standard First Aid, CPR-Level C, Swim & Lifesaving Instructor.
- Experience in operating water filtration & chlorine systems and water chemistry is an
asset but not mandatory. Candidate must be willing to obtain certification in Pool
Operator I & II.
- Criminal Record Check
Rate of Pay: $31.15 per hour (as per CUPE 2022 wage grid) with a $1.00 shift premium after
5 pm and an excellent benefit package and pension plan.
