The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a strategic growth marketing manager to join ApplyBoard’s Growth Marketing team. In this role, you’ll own the sales promotions strategy to grow our global market share and support our sales team. You will help the team drive the pipeline through strategic marketing tactics, sales promotions and execution. You will build campaigns based on segments, personas, and buying cycles, manage a program calendar, execute integrated campaigns, track results and optimize campaign performance to accelerate sales growth.
What you’ll be doing everyday:
  • Build the growth marketing promotions strategy for global markets (Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, China, and LATAM), outlining key marketing themes, messages and offers and mediums for promotions throughout the year
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing specialists
  • Leverage data to create compelling audience experience stories, track conversion rates across the funnel, by campaign, by tactic, and make improvements to how we think about and execute integrated marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive leads through the sales pipeline including but not limited to email marketing, webinars, events, digital and traditional advertising, prospecting calls, etc.
  • Contribute to the creative process and support the development of programs, content, collateral and sales support materials through inspiring briefs, effective creative evaluation and timely stakeholder approvals
  • Establish relationships with the Sales Directors and International Recruitment Managers (sales team), keep stakeholders informed about activities and actively report on results.
  • Manage, report on and define KPIs that are meaningful and measurable, owning quarterly demand generation goals and ensuring exceptional ROI
  • Work cross functionally with other teams and team members to help guide the portfolio of marketing programs, including: website, content marketing, database marketing, email nurturing, paid advertising, content syndication, SEO, social media, blogs, events and webinars, and defining new channels to market
  • Create 12-month marketing plans, proactively deliver on the marketing calendar and build innovative and results-driven programs as per market/stakeholder requirements
  • Other tasks as assigned

What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years of demand generation experience in fast-paced environment, preferable at a high-growth technology company
  • College degree or university diploma in marketing, sales business administration, or other related discipline
  • Experience developing go-to market strategies and multi-channel integrated campaigns that yield results
  • Highly analytical approach to reporting and analyzing performance metrics with a focus on continuous optimization.
  • Ability to work with international peers collaboratively across time zones
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Experience working in international growth marketing
  • A positive, can-do attitude

Ideally, you also have some experience of:
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with Jira, Airtable, Confluence, or other project management tools
  • Experience with working internationally
  • Knowledge of the international education market
