Maintenance - General Labor (Kitsilano)

Location: west 2nd Avenue near Vine Street
As our Maintenance person, you’ll help provide site maintenance and janitorial services for our residential and commercial tenants. You’re the type of person who is not afraid to get your hands dirty and are often seen as the “fix-it” person. You have a knack for perfection and enjoy creating a neat, tidy and well-maintained experience for our tenants.
Monday to Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm (however flexibility will be required for some weekend work)
Immediate start
Starting Salary $21.00 + per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to helping with:
Painting
Janitorial duties
Minor Electrical and Plumbing repairs
Performing minor drywall duties including framing, boarding, mudding, taping and sanding
Deconstruct areas as necessary for renovation
Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Overall General building repairs and maintenance work
Qualifications:
Maintenance or related experience;
Experience in a residential or commercial buildings is an asset.
- Capable of safely operating a variety of power tools
Can lift up to 50lbs and perform other physically demanding duties if requiredPunctual, reliable and dependable
- Successful completion of a criminal records check.
