As a Groundsperson on our team, you will be responsible to all aspects of cemetery care including interments, memorial and monument installations, grounds maintenance and customer service. You will do rewarding work while enjoying the outdoors, and you’ll go home knowing your efforts helped to create a special place that is appreciated by many. Highland Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery has approximately 55 developed acres and is presently performing 450-500 interments annually. This property also has a crematorium performing over 2800 cremations annually. The property includes a funeral home and an administration and sales office on site.

What you bring to the role:
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors.
- Driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Previous landscaping, horticultural and/or cemetery experience is nice to have.
- Heavy equipment operator training/certification is nice to have.
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) certification is nice to have.
- Commitment to a 40-hour work week, Tuesday to Saturday, subject to change based on business needs.
