What You’ll Do
As a fullstack developer, you are able to contribute to both the backend and frontend codebases, depending on situational demand; however, your focus will usually be on the backend. In this high-impact role you will work directly with the founders and other developers to build out the Levr platform. Specific responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with other backend developers to:

........ Build high quality backend APIs
........ Implement third party tooling and apis
........ Create and update data models responsibly
........ Build scalable and resilient data systems

• Collaborate with other frontend developers to:

........ Build beautiful and intuitive user interfaces
........ Ensure data lifecycle and consistency with backend systems

• Interface with infrastructure developers to ensure app security, responsiveness and availability
• Contributing to wider product design and strategy conversations with founders and other developers.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Ability to work autonomously and with a desire for ownership and accountability
• Knowledge of, and experience in, the following technologies:

........ Django Rest Framework (Python)
........ React (Javascript and/or Typescript)

• Experience in designing and building consistent and well-organised APIs
• Experience of UX design best practices and process, as well as in rapid prototyping.
• 3+ years of professional experience

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in the following technologies:

........ GCP (or AWS or Azure)
........ Kubernetes
........ Docker
........ Kafka
........ React Mantine

• Experience in the following architectures and associated tooling:

........ Event-driven architecture
........ Microservice architecture
........ Real-time architecture

• Experience or knowledge of security (product, network, authorization and authentication, etc) and compliance implications when developing FinTech products (e.g. GDPR)
• Experience with Role Based Access Control
• Experience in data lifecycle & management
• Affinity for creating documentation and other communication/organisational systems
• Experience working in an early-stage startup
• Knowledge of FinTech or demonstrated curiosity around the industry.

Salary: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
