Front-End Developer - Remote - Intermediate Job at Adecco Canada
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Front-End Web Developer. This is a 3-month contract, with possibility of extension, with our Client located in Ottawa, ON. The opportunity is remote for the duration of the contract. The successful candidate must hold a valid reliability level security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

The Web Developer will have the following responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring to ensure the system is healthy;
- Provide administration related tasks such as configuration change, deployment activities, installing security certificates, firmware upgrade, managing IBM cases;
- Support development activities such as coding, creating API endpoints, setup security;
- Participate in Scrum meetings and provide consistent updates to the project manager;
- Provide general insight and input to potential improvements to existing front-end systems;
- Work collaboratively to support the team on all projects on a national level;
The Web Developer must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Post-secondary certificate in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field;
- 3+ years' experience in web and application development (Front-End);
- 3+ years' experience with Graphic design and tools;
- 3+ years' working with HTML/Web development Markup;
- 3+ years' experience using Javascript and jQuery in a professional environment;
- Experience working with Classic ASP/AS.net would be an asset;
- Basic experience with back-end would be considered an asset;
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment;
- Strong communication skills in both written and virtual environments;
- Bilingualism in both French and English would be considered a strong asset;
