UPDATE - This job is located in Lake Country (near Kelowna) in British Columbia. If you are not Canadian that is fine, but you will need to be a permanent resident in Canada with a valid work permit that doesn't have a time limit. Working closely with our growers you will ensure our customers' needs are met in all aspects of Food Safety and Compliance.

The ideal candidate will be highly computer literate, with very strong attention to detail. Capable of working independantly and as part of a team, building trust with our growers and inspiring confidence with colleagues and customers.

Experience of working in a similar role within the fresh produce industry would be an advantage, although any candidate who demonstrates the right skillset will be considered.

This role involves understanding the precise needs of our customers and regulatory bodies, communicating this to your colleagues and to our growers, supporting those growers as required in order to ensure they obtain the necessary accreditation, collecting the critical documents (certificates, policies, etc.) and making sure these are shared with customers in line with agreed deadlines.

You will also be responsible for collecting samples and sending them to an accredited lab for residue analysis, then analysing the test results and sharing the data with the sales team to ensure fruit is only shipped to countries where it is approved.

In one sentence: The job holder will be responsible for ensuring our Due Diligence is complete and we are always delivering safe food to our customers, with the necessary evidence to demonstrate that.
