Cahill is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to support our corporate and project delivery teams across Canada.
What will you do?

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, variance analysis, capital asset management, intercompany and account reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation and presentation
• Prepare year-end working papers
• Assist in preparation of divisional, combined, and consolidated reports
• Work with Project Managers to ensure accuracy of work-in-progress for monthly reporting
• Maintain overall general ledger accuracy and divisional accuracy through monthly general ledger review
• Perform other duties as required

What will you bring?

• 5 - 8 years financial experience in a multi-company construction environment
• Experience in real estate holdings and/or health care environment would be considered an asset
• Business Administration or Commerce Degree with a focus in Finance
• Successful completion or near completion of a professional accounting designation
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Respect and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of company, suppliers, and subcontractor information
