The Finance function is responsible for providing transactional accounting services and support, treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting, commercial finance and financial systems & change support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare across all global locations.

The Finance Change Team is responsible for managing and delivering the finance change initiatives (regulatory or as identified by finance process owners) related to finance processes, workflow, reports and systems integrations. In addition, it will set the finance system strategy and manage change initiatives. Furthermore, supporting transitions of future acquisitions or demergers.

A role you will love

The Business Analyst’s role is to work alongside the business to define and document business requirements in cooperation with Senior Business PM and Senior IT PM; liaise with the end users, core finance systems, technology team and vendors to ensure the business requirements are understood.

The role will contribute to building a strong relationship between the business and IT. In addition, will contribute to business implementation tasks, including training, business process mapping, testing and business readiness.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop business requirements and non-functional requirements.
• Establish traceability for requirements to support testing management
• Contribute to business cases – identifies benefits associated with particular pieces of work and operational dependencies and establish appropriate proposals to clearly articulate the requirements
• Provide high-level evaluation of requirements for business programs and projects, which includes business process re-engineering, cost-benefit analysis, recommend solutions and business requirements development
• Verify and validates at senior levels of the business
• Engage the business user community to ensure that it has been consulted in the preparation of project briefs, business requirements (functional and non-functional) and process re-engineering
• Engage with the business to prepare User Acceptance Testing
• Develop documentation that correctly reflects current functionality, operating procedures and processes
• Identify business-related risks, issues and dependencies in the development of the solution

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for people with these skills:

Required:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in an IT or Business related discipline
• 5-8 years experience working as a business analyst in a Corporate and Finance environment
• Experience in working in agile environments and multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred:

• Lean/Six Sigma/Agile exposure or equivalent desired.
• Accredited Certified Business Analysis Professional or similar.
