The focus of the role is to assess the reliability of the Canadian and US Liquids Pipeline system though application of internally developed modelling tools. These results will provide meaningful improvements to facilities integrity management and pipeline safety.

Note: This is for two positions.
What you will do:

Conduct risk analysis on Enbridge station/facility tanks, equipment, piping segments, and operational threats through hands-on application of reliability methods (e.g. Monte Carlo simulations, fault tree analyses, historical based assessment).

Perform reliability assessments on Enbridge transmission pipelines using Excel based software (e.g. Python, @Risk).

Analyze large scale data when reporting risk results to company stakeholders.

Lead detailed investigations on assets or features that do not meet integrity reliability targets following existing processes.

Collaborate with teammates to continually improve Asset Reliability analysis tools, models, and processes to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of risk management.
Who you are:

Engineering degree.
-
Registered member, or eligible to register with APEGA as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta.

Minimum 4 years of directly related experience in one or more of the following areas: Pipeline integrity management, Facilities asset management, Reliability or risk analysis and/or Pipeline operations.

Extensive knowledge of Excel based programming tools such as Python / Visual Basic / MATLAB.

Ability to complete self-directed tasks and quickly respond to requests.

Demonstration of problem-solving and critical thinking.

Effective communication skills and ability to establish relationships.
Working Conditions:

Office based in Edmonton.

Limited travel to field and conferences with Canada and the US, less than 10%. Valid passport is required.
