Experienced Remote Camp Cook Job at Northstar Frontier Services
The Resident Manager/Camp Cook is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp on a day-to-day basis, including meal preparation, housekeeping, inventory, and administrative tasks. The Resident Manager/Camp Cook will ensure that all service standards are met. The position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, customer service skills, and the ability to respond to a variety of different situations at all times. Housekeeping duties are required. Stripping and making beds, laundering linens, vacuuming, mopping, ensuring washrooms are clean, etc.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work away from home for several weeks at a time, to a maximum of 5 weeks. Transportation to and from the work site is provided by the employer, therefore only applicants that reside within a reasonable distance from Sudbury, Ontario will be considered. Out of province applicants will not be considered unless the candidate expresses that a relocation to Sudbury, Ontario is planned.
Criminal background check will be conducted by the employer as a condition of employment on successful candidate.
Base rate is $18.10/hour plus daily overtime.
