ABM College is currently looking for a successful and enthusiastic Event Planner who should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management and event planning. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role, as our success depends on meeting our client’s tailored requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Plan schedules, goals, and objectives.
- Develop registration systems and information materials.
- Plan for required documentation and for pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.)
- Generate leads and add them to the system.
- Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success by promoting the brand.
- Confirm and co-ordinate speakers.
- Plan for VIP arrangements.
- Co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events. Assisting with set-up/take-down of events.
- Research and design special events programs.
- Plan for social events and guest programs.
- Manage Event Logistics.
- Assisting with coordinating the finer details of events.
- Greeting vendors on-site.
- Putting together run sheets and floor plans for events.
- Assisting event planners with venue arrangements.
- Continuously looking for new ways to improve the guest experience.
- Promote conference and meeting services or special events.
- Inspect and select sites.
- Develop media strategies and public relations activities.
Education and Skills Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management and other related fields or 5 years of related work experience.
- At least 3 years of work experience as an Event Planner.
- Result-driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational, research, and accuracy skills.
- Sharp listening skills and critical thinking.
- Exceptional verbal and written communications.
- Must have sensitivity and ability to successfully interact with diverse populations.
- Committed to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
- Exceptional computer skills.
- A candidate who can speak Tagalog language is an asset
Transportation/travel information (Traveling Required)*

- Willing to travel for extended periods

- Schedule: Must be flexible with scheduling due to the nature of the job. Mostly weekends require traveling to other cities or arranging events.
