We are currently recruiting an Electrical Scheduler for our client in Windsor, ON. This is a full-time position that operates on a straight day shift. This is a Direct Hire with the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identifies major milestones, critical approvals, and long lead procurement items.
• Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with owners and/or teams.
• Assists with development of the construction three-week look-ahead schedule(s) with manpower loading, incorporating construction strategy input
• Update and maintain project schedules in P6
• This individual is expected to have a strong understanding of P6 scheduling software. This position does not require a lot of field experience
• Develops and maintains spreadsheets for various phases of construction projects
• Communicates schedule status to management regularly
• Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences.
• Interact with engineering discipline leads & construction managers to understand issues and conflicts impacting schedule
• Suggests corrective actions and/or develops recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• Experience in industrial construction and/or Turnarounds/Outages.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience on industrial construction and maintenance projects. Specifically in the electrical field.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method concepts
• Proficiency in Primavera (P6)
• Earned Value Management
• Ability to efficiently source all requisitioned materials.
• Must be able to multitask, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate verbally effectively and professionally and in writing ensuring tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Salary: $120,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
