THIS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IS OPEN TO INTERNAL UNIFOR - HOGARTH RIVERVIEW MANOR AND SEIU - ST. JOSEPH'S HERITAGE MEMBERS
St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) is pleased to be providing the following supports and incentives to assist employees in the UNIFOR - HRM or SEIU - HERITAGE bargaining units who are interested in retraining to become a Personal Support Worker, Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
As part of this program, you will:
~ Registered Practical Nurse Program = $10,000 paid upon completion
~ Registered Nurse Program = $10,000 paid upon completion
Program eligibility & how to apply:
Eligibility for program will be based on years of service in combination of attendance, active discipline history and ability to complete the program by the Spring of 2025.
Interested individuals will be required to submit an application through the e-Recruit system and participate in an interview process.

- Be able to work a flexible schedule while you complete the accredited program
- Be able to continue participation in health and dental benefits while completing your studies (if currently enrolled)
- Receive a monetary bonus upon successful program completion:
~ Registered Practical Nurse Program = $10,000 paid upon completion
~ Registered Nurse Program = $10,000 paid upon completion
- Be committed to work for a two-year period in a guaranteed regular full-time or part-time position as a Personal Support Worker, Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Long-Term Care upon successful program completion
