Thrive Childcare is looking to hire Early Childhood Educators, Early Childhood Educator Assistants and an Infant/Toddler Educator for a full time position.

Thrive Childcare is a new daycare in east Chilliwack for children 0-5 years of age. We are looking for someone who is flexible, patient, nurturing and a team player who can provide a safe empathetic environment for children of 0-5 years of age. We are looking for someone who will follow the centers policies and procedures to ensure the quality of care remains high. We currently offer incentives for our ECE's to continue on their education in the ECE field. The current wage posted is before the $4 wage enhancement for Early Childhood Educators giving by the government.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

Supervision of children 0-5 years of age
Caretaking duties (Such as diaper changes, Nap time, feeding or dressing)
General cleaning duties
Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum and art projects
Guide children's behavior
Record keeping when necessary
collaborating with families
Develop and maintain a safe environment
Support development of children
Conducts themselves in a professional manner
Participates in professional development training and learning
Prepping and implementing art, circle, and engading experinces for children

Qualifications

Education- Grade 12 and completed Early Childhood Education certificate. Standard First Aid with CPRC certificate.

Experience- prefer 1-2 years of experience in the childcare field but not necessary.
Skills- Able to work independently and as a team, multi task, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and is punctual and flexible with a work schedule. We are looking for someone who can take initiave in the classroom.

Thrive Childcare highly values their employees. We are looking for someone who has their ECE, ECEA or Infant/Toddler certificate.

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
