Highlights:
The Iceman is looking for an experienced and reliable DZ licensed driver to work from our Vaughan location and deliver packaged ice throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Shift: 4 to 5 days per week, week days and day or evening shifts
Pay: $24.00 to $26.00/hour depending on experience
Driver Duties
- Assist in loading of truck, verify paperwork and conduct safety inspection
- Deliver order via the most efficient route and document delivery
- Provide effective customer service and communicate effectively with the dispatcher
- Operate vehicle and walker in a safe and responsible manner
Requirements
- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario “DZ” Driver’s License
- Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record (i.e., no major violations) and must pass a driving record check annually
- Minimum of one year of commercial truck driving experience; delivery driving experience is an asset
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg.
- Superior customer service skills
- Proficient in English and able to follow instructions and written procedures
