Job summary

Join our fleet today!!! We are currently looking for a full-time class 5 driver for daily pickups of used plastic recipients contaminated by hydrocarbons (Oil) and Glycols (Anti-freeze) serving the Vancouver area. If you are a motivated and energetic individual that wants to be part of an expanding company, then we are interested by you!

This position includes the following tasks and responsibilities:

Service

Stop and collect plastics from every customer on the pickup sheets; Obtain signatures from all customers; Weigh and record all bags picked up from customers; Ensure all materials are collected from the sight including pails; Make sure the plastic is not contaminated with garbage, filters etc.; Insure that it wash in a clean manner; Behave in a polite and respectful manner and answer any possible questions the customer may have.

Cleanliness

Maintain overall cleanliness of the trucks and yard; Insure there are no leaks at any time; Keep truck cabin clean and orderly; Insure the truck does not sit over night with pooling water and oil; Clean thoroughly at the end of the work week including pressure washing ; Keep yard clean and clear of oil and debris and take appropriate action when a spill occurs; Dress appropriately for the job as well as customer relations.

Requirements

Possess a driver’s licence and a clean abstract; Able to drive a 20-22’ straight truck; Be client focused and effective; Be autonomous, hard-working and reliable.

Salary : $25/hour
