Have you acquired what it takes in geotechnical design? Are you passionate about drawing and computer-aided design with Civil 3D?

Our group carries out a multitude of varied mandates related to the fields of the mining environment and sustainable mining development. We regularly take up the challenge of designing innovative solutions adapted to each client and assisting them at all stages of the life of their mining operation, from exploration to closure. We are looking for a CAD designer who will participate in multidisciplinary teams in the design of mining projects.

Under the supervision of engineers, the designer will be involved in all stages of the design of tailings dams and mine effluent management structures, from concept development to construction.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Participate in the design of tailings ponds, waste rock piles, mine closure plan, ditches, roads and basins for mining projects.
• Participate in the preparation of design plans and calculations of the quantity of materials required.
• Prepare technical specifications and calculate quantities;
• Prepare design drawings and figures.

What will you contribute?

• Technical diploma in civil engineering.
• Relevant experience in geotechnics or civil engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of Autocad Civil 3D software.
• Fluency in English French would an asset.
