We are looking for a business development director within the various banners, corporate accounts and distributors.
Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for monitoring all active accounts in order to achieve the planned annual sales objective and to maximize business opportunities in each account. You will also be called upon to prospect for new accounts.
Responsibilities
- Management of major accounts already active
- Annual planning of sales strategies based on established objectives
- Meet sales and profitability objectives
- Prepare and conduct business reviews and strategic program presentations
- Meet with clients, identify needs and objectives to be achieved, coordinate between departments to meet deadlines
- Planogram management
- Maximize sales opportunities by working closely with the various stakeholders (sales, marketing, purchasing, operations)
- Prospect new accounts and generate new business opportunities.

- Has a very good knowledge of business processes related to sales and marketing;
- Bilingual (oral and written) -essential
- Intermediate Competence Microsoft – Excel - Powerpoint
- College diploma (DEC) or equivalent; or relevant professional experience in corporate sales in the distribution of consumer products for the retail market;
- Experience in negotiation with head offices a major asset;
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to develop concise and effective written proposals, presentations and summaries;
- Creative and innovative, autonomous and disciplined and you are efficient in time management and organization;
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
