The Town of The Blue Mountains is a growing and progressive, four-season community with stunning natural features, including the Niagara Escarpment, Beaver Valley and the Georgian Bay shoreline, and the various recreational activities and experiences they afford. We are seeking to fill two, two-year contracts for Development Engineering Reviewer. These positions are under review to become full-time, permanent.

Reporting to the Manager of Development Engineering, the Development Engineering Reviewer will generate and prepare review comments for submissions by the development community, undertake field construction review and inspections, issue Certificates for milestones of Development Agreements, process and recommend security reductions, and prepare staff reports for the Assumption of subdivisions.
This role is also responsible for liaising with the public on development construction related concerns/inquiries. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Community College graduate of a 3-year program of civil engineering design of municipal infrastructure, or University degree in civil engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience as a civil technologist/technician/engineer in the review, approval, construction review, and costing of development projects
Membership in OACETT or PEO
Thorough working knowledge of the development planning approval process.
Experienced user of AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic computer models. Information for Interested Candidates:

Salary Range: $73,782.80 - $86,340.80 (2022 Rate)
