About the role

Reporting to the Director of Program Management and in collaboration with the Program Manager, the successful candidate will be the main point of contact to support and assist the customer through their program needs. The responsibilities for this position is to represent the voice of the customer to the internal cross functional teams, to coordinate and execute actions throughout the lifecycle of the customers engines during its Maintenance, Repair or Overhaul (MRO) activities for CFM56 and CF34 engines.

The successful candidate will be translating technical information given from the production floor to their customer in easy to understand terminology and explanations and use their technical knowledge and experience to provide cost effective recommendations concerning their internal activities.

Main responsibilities:
  • Monitor the engines Work In Progress (WIP) timeline according to contact in place.
  • Participate in the daily production review and provide technical customer direction
  • Communicate technical update to customer and seek approval to support the work in progress
  • Provide priorities to the production, lead actions and raise escalation with cross functional team to ensure on time delivery (Engineering, Planning, Production, Supply Chain, Finance)
  • Review customer technical documentation
  • Produce the weekly progress report, and lead the weekly meeting with the Customer.
  • Create Sales Order and Work Order in ERP system.
  • Coordinate the reception and shipment of customer equipment
  • Participate to the final invoice review and approval process
  • Responsible to perform the customer satisfaction survey.
  • Manage customer account and lead the actions to solve the situation.
  • Participate in process improvement

What you bring to the role

  • Engineering or business degree from an accredited university in a related discipline (mechanical, aerospace)
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a Customer facing role
  • Experience working with complex contractual structure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment
  • Great organizational and planification skills
  • Capable to excel in a fast paste environment and working well under pressure
  • Ability to multitask, work without direct supervision and take initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and great team player
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Innovative and focus on Continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to be called afterhours and to work extended hours if necessary.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Experience working in the Aviation field
  • MRO experience is preferred
  • Experience with Quantum system
  • Being able to communicate Technical information effectively
  • Knowledge of French is an asset
