We are now accepting applications for a Commercial Transport Technician/Mechanic to be part of our Port Alberni location in a full-time, permanent capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on heavy-duty trucks
• Consult and follow established manufacturer’s service literature and guidelines for proper testing, repair and maintenance of trucks
• Inspect and diagnose cause of failure with proper equipment to perform repairs or adjustments
• Properly document cause and correction for all concerns listed on repair order as the work is completed

What we are looking for:

• Red Seal Journeyman with Motor Vehicle Inspector Certification preferred, but will also consider Apprentices.
• 3+ years of experience in the Heavy-Duty industry (Dealer experience is strongly preferred but related industries may also be considered)
• Self-motivated, team-oriented individuals who have the ability to perform successfully under pressure
• Professional demeanor and superior customer service skills
